The tourist capital of the Costa Brava

¡Lugares que no te puedes perder!

Lloret de Mar is a modern city that has managed to preserve its historical, natural, and cultural heritage, and offers dynamism and activity throughout the year. A welcoming municipality, known internationally as one of the main tourist destinations in the Mediterranean. Today, Lloret de Mar offers visitors a city to enjoy throughout the year. We invite you to experience this Lloret live, to stroll along its pleasant beaches and natural landscapes, to explore a thousand-year-old history, to discover ancestral traditions and a culture in the broadest sense, to taste a suggestive gastronomy, to practice all sports, and to open all your senses. Because Lloret is more than you thought.

Lloret has emblematic spaces, such as the Santa Clotilde Gardens (gardens next to the sea for a quiet walk), the Maritime Museum (to learn about the maritime history of Lloret), and the Indiano and Modernist legacy, with buildings as special as the church of Sant Romà or Sant Pere del Bosc.

  • Santa Clotilde Gardens: The Santa Clotilde Gardens are located in a place of great beauty. On a cliff with stunning views over the sea, this wonderful garden was planted, a true example of the spirit that formed the Noucentista movement in Catalonia, of which Eugeni d’Ors was a brilliant spokesperson.
  • Maritime Museum – Can Garriga: Whoever visits the Maritime Museum is immersed in an authentic journey through the history of Lloret and its close link with the sea. This house is a present-day witness to the mark of the Indianos – those who went to make their fortune in the Americas.
  • Hermitages and churches: Lloret has different hermitages and churches, such as the Hermitage of Santa Cristina, where you can find an exhibition of miniature boats offered by sailors or fishermen to the saint. In this hermitage, the Santa Cristina Festival (July 24) is celebrated every year.
  • Shopping: The commerce of Lloret de Mar, with a thousand commercial establishments, represents the second economic engine of the population. The commercial offer of Lloret is wide and diverse, and you can find all kinds of articles and products. Throughout the year, activities and commercial fairs are held, such as street shops, or the Medieval Fair, among others.
